PLAF Asks 'Should Police Engage in Restorative Justice?'
Police departments often treat formal complaints of racial bias in policing primarily as a matter of internal discipline. However, a restorative justice program could serve an important need for citizens who file complaints of police wrongdoing to be heard and that police officers also ensure that their perspective communicated to the public.
