Robo revolution
The University of Tulsa has received a $3.75 million award from the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center to study some of the world’s most futuristic technologies. One of the school’s first investments was a robotic dog that utilizes artificial intelligence to inspect its environment for potential obstacles and hazards. Students and faculty in engineering, computer science and cyber studies will develop cutting-edge technologies to create safer, more secure spaces for all.

In the director’s chair
Keith “Sneak” Daniels (BA ’15) is a Tulsa-born writer, director and producer. Having received his bachelor’s degree in theatre and his minor in film studies, his TU education addressed various aspects of the creative process of filmmaking. With two successful projects under his belt and more on the horizon, Daniels maintains a willing-to-learn attitude. "I am still discovering new ways to express myself and new ways to be creative in film and writing. I am a student of the craft,” he said.
