Checking in on the RTSWS Fall Workshops |
Marshall Fundamental School Cohort with First Citizens Bank volunteers
|
An exciting new school year of RTSWS programming has begun to kickoff in classrooms across the US, UK and Canada, with many of our cohorts already diving into their fall workshops.
During these sessions, dedicated female financial professionals lead classroom workshops focused on financial and investment fundamentals. These workshops follow a project-based curriculum, where students take on the role of financial advisors, guiding their mock client through important financial decisions. Over four sessions, our students gain knowledge in areas such as saving, budgeting, investing, understanding capital markets and the various career paths within finance.
Stay tuned as we share more about the sessions and RTSWS cohorts over the weeks!

At RTSWS, we proudly celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month and honor the more than 1,000 Students & Alumnae in our program who identify as Hispanic. Their backgrounds help to further expand engagement and participation in the industry, grow the talent pipeline, and serve an even more diverse client base.
We celebrate these achievements and contributions, and recognize the impact of Hispanic and Latinx leaders in finance. Together, we are building a more inclusive and equitable future for all.
Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!

Fostering Financial Literacy &
Sustainability for the Next Generation |
|
|
As we reflect on the impactful events of Climate Week, we’re proud to spotlight the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) component of our RTSWS Student Curriculum. While teaching financial and investment fundamentals to high school girls, we also introduce key concepts surrounding climate and environmental impact.
Each year, our curriculum is updated to reflect the latest advancements in sustainable finance. We understand there is much progress to be made, but we believe in the powerful role that positive impact investing can play in shaping a more sustainable future for our planet, our industry, and our students.
Together with our dedicated volunteers, we are not only empowering young women with financial literacy but also guiding them to become conscientious leaders who will drive sustainability in the financial sector. We recognize the hard work of our students and alumnae as they take part in building a better tomorrow.

Advancing Global Equality & Financial Empowerment for Girls with UN Women |
|
|
|
Our CEO, Ashley Leftwich recently attended the briefing for the 2024 Generation Equality Accountability Report. This event focused on findings from the 2024 Commitments Reporting Survey, highlighting Generation Equality’s role as a catalyst for global cooperation and progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals.
The briefing featured key insights from Papa Seck, Chief of Research & Data at UN Women, alongside contributions from Generation Equality leaders. It provided a platform for stakeholders to engage in meaningful dialogue on the report’s findings, impacts, and recommendations.
At Rock The Street, Wall Street, we understand that advancing financial education for girls is essential to achieving gender equality and broader global goals. Events like these reinforce our dedication to empowering young women with the financial literacy needed to excel in their futures and transform the financial workforce.
We extend our gratitude to UN Women and the Intergenerational Dialogue on Generation Equality for fostering such vital discussions and collaborative efforts.
