Dear employees,

You may have seen in the news yesterday that weekly testing requirements for many unvaccinated New York State employees is no longer in effect, as of Tuesday, June 7. This does NOT affect our testing protocols at Stony Brook, where we continue to require weekly testing for individuals who are not fully vaccinated. This is in accordance with our memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with our multiple union partners around COVID testing of employees, which remain in effect through the end of August.

We will continue to keep you apprised of testing protocols and the timing of any changes when and if they occur. 

In the meantime, employees can go to the Testing webpage of our Stronger Together website for the latest information and testing schedules.
