The value of volunteering |
Volunteering isn't just about helping others; it's also about growing ourselves. It's a chance to pick up new skills, meet fantastic people and make memories that last a lifetime. Whether it's planting trees, reading to kids or lending a hand at a local shelter, every bit counts, and every hour makes a difference.
Did you know that the UT System Administration allows its full-time employees to use up to eight paid work hours each calendar year to participate in volunteer activities that benefit the community?
So, let's get out there, show our communities some love, and spread some UT System spirit one act of kindness at a time.

For a better experience
In an ongoing commitment to provide exceptional support and assistance, a dedicated desktop icon has been created to serve as your direct gateway to all technology-related questions. The “Technology HELP” icon will appear on your desktop soon. Please utilize this shortcut when you need technology assistance, and a Help Desk Analyst will either resolve your ticket or route it to the appropriate team. This workflow will also help the Department of Technology Solutions track the number and type of technical issues/requests UTSA is experiencing. As always, a call to 974-9900 will connect you directly to the Help Desk for assistance, or an email to UTSA_desktopsupport@tennessee.edu for urgent issues (i.e. Conference Rooms).
