Dear Teacher Education Alumni, Family, and Friends,
During the Spring '24 semester, we have a unique and valuable opportunity for the preservice educators in the Teacher Education Department at Adrian College. Our dedicated students have the chance to attend the upcoming Technology Conference organized by MACUL (Michigan Association of Computer Users in Learning) on March 14-15, 2024, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The MACUL conference is an exceptional event that brings together educators from across the state to explore the latest advancements in technology and its applications in the field of education. Artificial Intelligence, in particular, is rapidly changing the landscape of teaching and learning, and it is crucial that our future educators are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to harness these advancements effectively in their classrooms.
The benefits of attending the MACUL conference are numerous. This opportunity will expose our students to professional conferences and organizations, helping them gain insights into the latest trends in education technology and enhancing their professional development. By participating in this event, our students will be better prepared to embrace the ever-evolving challenges and opportunities in the classroom. Past students who attended had excellent experiences and have continued to attend this conference year after year.
The cost for each preservice educator to attend the MACUL conference is $25 per student. However, we are not only seeking to cover the registration fee but also to provide opportunities for our students to network with fellow educators and professionals in the field. Additionally, some of the funds raised will be allocated for lodging and meals, ensuring that our students can make the most of this enriching experience. A contribution of just $25 can make a significant difference by sending one of our promising preservice educators to this conference. Your donation will not only help empower these students but also contribute to the future of education in Michigan.
Thank you for considering our request. Your support plays a vital role in shaping the future of education and ensuring that our preservice educators have the tools and knowledge to excel in their future careers.
Sincerely,
The Adrian College Teacher Education Department
