| SCHOOL NOTES FROM MRS. WOODMAN Dear Families and Friends, What a fabulous 80th anniversary week it has been! Many thanks to all who came on Tuesday for our celebration. Guests were very complimentary about our liturgy and the students, especially their singing at Mass. We got to visit with many of our past graduates and even former teachers. Tomorrow the students may wear their new 80th logo tee shirts to school with Spirit Day bottoms. I’ve had some amusing visitors in the mornings this week from first grade. Ella Cox, Evelyn Baltz, and Paisley Smith have come in to show me their artful creations from morning care and tell me what’s on their minds. The threesome let me know on Wednesday that they will one day be famous for writing and finding dinosaur bones! I loved their enthusiasm and hope that all of our students dream big for the future. Keep in mind that next week Home and School Association will host the first Gathering in the Grotto at 6:00 p.m. All parents are invited for this adult event. Next Wednesday Fr. Forsythe will bless pets on the feast of St. Francis in the Bird and Butterfly Garden at 3:30. I will have pet medals of St. Francis for the occasion. Sincerely, Mrs. Sherry Woodman Principal
