Visit UCanGo2.org to see a listing of scholarships with November and December deadlines, as well as publications designed to help your students locate and win scholarships of all types. November is Veterans’ Month |
Each November, we honor those who have served their country in any branch of the military. There are many education benefits and programs that help veterans, service members and their qualified family members with needs relating to higher education. We hope you’ll explore these websites and learn how to apply for the education and training benefits you’ve earned.

The 2026-27 FAFSA is open, and this year it’s running more smoothly than ever! Remind your seniors that each of them needs to create a new account at StudentAid.gov before they begin their financial aid applications at FAFSA.gov. For most high school seniors, parental information will be required too, so one or both parents should also create an account of their own.
To help seniors determine if one or both parents need an account, send them to Who should enter as a parent on the FAFSA form?, found at StudentAid.gov.

Free Presentations and Workshops |
The UCanGo2 Outreach Team is available to provide free presentations or Zoom webinars at your school, library or community center focused on college planning and the FAFSA! Additionally, we can share information about Oklahoma’s Promise, finding scholarships and creating a StudentAid.gov account, which is necessary to access and electronically sign your FAFSA application.
