This year’s event included 12 platform presentations and 34 posters on various topics representing many programs in the College of Graduate Health Sciences. Great Job!

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s Advisory Board met Wednesday, May 11, in Memphis, welcoming new members, hearing a report from Chancellor Peter Buckley, MD, on his first few months in office, receiving updates from the deans of UTHSC’s six colleges, and approving the university’s FY 2023 budget, which raises its minimum wage to $17 an hour.

| Diversity and Inclusion Book Club

The Office of Inclusion, Equity, and Diversity hosts a Diversity and Inclusion Book Club throughout the year to stimulate discussions on diversity, equality, and inclusion. Participation is fluid to account for various schedules and subject matters. The club is open to faculty, staff, and students. The new book is “Can Everyone Please Calm Down?” by Mae Martin. Join the discussion Thursday, May 26, noon to 1 p.m. CDT, via Zoom.
