Call for Papers: Special Issue in Alzheimer's & Dementia

This issue will be devoted to the foundational importance of key programs, their contribution to the field of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia research, and their ongoing relevancy and impact in the era of emerging biomarkers, disease modifying treatments, advanced digital tools, and computational methodologies.

AGING Initiative MCCs Scholars Program
Deadline: January 10, 2025
This program will create a cohort of emerging leaders who are committed to pursuing training and collaborative opportunities to align their research interests with issues relevant to the health and healthcare of older adults with MCCs.

Texas Resource Center for Minority Aging Research: Pilot Projects
Deadline: January 25, 2025
The purpose of the Texas RCMAR is to provide infrastructure that facilitates the development of researchers and research on the health and aging of under-represented populations. Funding will support 1-year Pilot Projects; $40,000 in direct costs for the period 07/01/2025-06/30/2026.

R25 Dementia Palliative Care Clinical Trials Program (DEM-PCCT)
Deadline: February 15, 2025
This 10-month program funded by the National Institute on Aging, supports investigators in developing competence in the planning, design, and execution of randomized clinical trials among persons with Alzheimer's Disease or Related Dementias (ADRD) and their caregivers.
