Middle School Entries Due TodayEntries for the 2018 Middle School National Tournament are due today, April 24. Teams are permitted to enter four entries per event and list additional students for consideration on the waitlist. Visit http://msnats.tabroom.com to register! If space remains, schools may enter the tournament after April 24 for a $200 late registration fee. To avoid late fees, please take note of deadlines for judges, piece information, media release forms, and more under the "Dates and Deadlines" tab in Tabroom.

Cast Your Vote! Polls Close Friday, April 27 Board of Directors » Time is running out to vote in the Board of Directors election. Each high school shall vote for up to four candidates.

Please note that each active school chapter will count as one vote. This is a change from the strength-based voting system of the past. Learn more about the 13 candidates seeking election in the Feb/March issue of Rostrum magazine. Then when you're ready to vote, log in to your Account page and select 'NSDA Voting' from the left side menu.

High School Nationals Entries
If you're heading to Fort Lauderdale, mark your calendars! Registration and fees for the National Tournament are due Tuesday, May 1. Click here to learn more about judge requirements, entries, and forms. See you in the sunshine!

All late entries (postmarked AFTER May 1) will be subject to a $200 late fee. Online registration closes Monday, May 7, and alternates will be notified beginning Tuesday, May 8. Alternates have seven (7) days to commit to entry once notified, or they will forfeit their qualification. Deadline for registration of alternates is Friday, May 25, 2018.

Application Open: Nats18 Financial Support The William Woods Tate, Jr., Memorial Fund is designed to help schools and students attending the National Speech & Debate Tournament for the first time, as well as schools with demonstrated financial need. Online Debate Competition - $50,000 Prize!We have partnered with the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation to host the Online Great Communicator Debate Competition on Saturday, May 19, 2018. Debates will be held via video chat with other competitors from across the country. The top two winners will qualify for the National Championship in July, where they will compete for $50,000 in scholarships. Read more and register online at onlinegcd.tabroom.com.
