Coley is the Class of 1957 Career Development Professor and an Associate Professor at MIT in the Department of Chemical Engineering and the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. His research group at MIT works at the interface of chemistry and data science to develop models that understand how molecules behave, interact, and react and use that knowledge to engineer new ones, with an emphasis on therapeutic discovery.

| ND-IBM Tech Ethics Lab 2024/25 Call for Proposals

With the rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI), we are still faced with a fundamental question: How do we design effective solutions for safe and ethical human-AI collaboration in real-world settings?
The Notre Dame-IBM Tech Ethics Lab invites proposals for projects that grapple with related challenges and opportunities.
Teams may apply for up to $60,000 in award funding.
