Young Friends Fall "Soptomber Con" Oct 4-6 |
Come join Young Friends in opening the year with Care, Trust, and Love! High-school aged Friends will gather at Homewood Friends Meeting in Baltimore for a ridiculously fun weekend from Friday, Oct 4 to Sunday, Oct 6. Financial aid for the conference fee of $75 and ride-sharing to Baltimore is available. We build a youth-led community where all are seen, heard, welcome, and loved.
Young Friends is a community sponsored by BYM consisting of high school age attenders who wish to enjoy the fellowship of our Quaker community. The Young Friends program seeks to build a community, which nurtures the personal and spiritual growth of all youth and adult participants. Young Friends promote individuality as well as the unity of being in community. Decisions are made according to Quaker process, seeking unity among those gathered.
