On Friday afternoon, February 26, Stone Avenue, is scheduled to open to one travel lane in each direction between Fourth Street and Sixth Street. Traffic will shift to the west side of the roadway while underground work and the reconstruction of Stone Avenue continues along the east side of the roadway. This traffic shift will be in place through mid-May.
On Monday, March 1, Sixth Street is scheduled to close to all motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists between Sixth Avenue and Stone Avenue (access to businesses will be maintained). This closure allows the contractor to install the underground drainage structure across the roadway. The closure will be in place through mid-May.
