Sponsor our Girls in STEM Pavilion

Help us inspire girls to pursue STEM careers with the Girls in STEM Pavilion! Our X-STEM and Nifty Fifty programs introduce leading female STEM mentors to thousands of girls each year, and we are excited to continue these efforts with the Girls in STEM Pavilion at the 2020 Expo. Our Girls in STEM Pavilion will feature hands-on, engaging STEM activities hosted by organizations that are committed to closing the gender gap in STEM along with inspiring face to face opportunities with female STEM role models.

A recent article published by Newsweek stresses the importance of reaching girls at a young age, "Often called the “leaky pipeline,” this problem grows during the high school years when interest in STEM drops from 15.7 percent among freshmen girls to 12.7 percent among seniors and only gets worse in college. More than 6.7 million men in the U.S. have a degree in STEM subjects compared with 2.5 million women." Hamburg, Margeret. Small, Nicole. "Women in STEM: Without Female Role Models, We Risk Losing Brilliant Minds in the Field." Newsweek, Web 10, May 2019

Find out how you can help to bridge the gap by contacting us to learn how your organization can support our Girls in STEM Pavilion at the 2020 Expo on April 24-26.
