Annual Session Registration Closes July 11th |
Hood College has requested our housing roster for Annual Session earlier than usual, and Registration for Annual Session will close July 11. Whether you're coming for one day or 5 nights, the Program Committee cannot wait to welcome you to Frederick July 27 - August 2. Earlier this week, our Presiding Clerk begin developing our Business Agenda (linked below), and Friends across our Yearly Meeting are busy putting the finishing touches on workshops, plenary sessions, Junior Yearly Meeting, and more! Minutes from our June 20, 2026 Interim Meeting will be available next week. The Meeting included a preview of the 2027 budget, which will come to Annual Session for approval. Friends are encouraged to read through the budget preview materials, which are now available on the Stewardship & Finance page at the link below. Questions or concerns about the 2027 budget or plan of apportionment can be brought to the next meeting of the Stewardship & Finance Committee on Monday, July 6th at 7:00pm or by email to SandF@bym-rsf.org.

FMW Seeks Religious Education Coordinator |
Friends Meeting of Washington is seeking an active, engaged and dynamic person to serve as our Children's Religious Education Coordinator. FMW's Religious Education Committee is accepting and reviewing applications beginning June 30th, 2026, and applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Familiarity with or willingness to learn and engage with Quaker faith and practice is prized, with camp, teaching or experience working with children with youth preferred All details can be found in the link above.

| Event with ross brubeck, Aug 6 |
Friends Incubator for Public Ministry invites you to an online event with ross brubeck (Sandy Spring/Brooklyn), known for his work among Friends to organize three Peace Walks. For ross, the walks create containers for spirit. ross is also an inveterate filmmaker, and is carrying camera equipment on the current pilgrimage for the purpose of creating a film about the Quaker relationship between prayer and nature.
