Not to toot our own horn too much, but we’ve been blown away by the sets on our stage all year. Hurricane Diane featured our most technically challenging scenic design yet - how do you blow apart a set every night and then rebuild it all only to destroy it again the next night? Well, scenic designer Joe Schermoly wasn’t daunted by this challenge and created the perfect suburban home filled with surprises.
We send out a big congratulations to Joe and Angela, both of whom received Equity Jeff Awards just a few weeks ago for their inspiring work on our stages! We hope that you too see the passion and dedication they give to our stages. And it’s no easy task - our production costs have skyrocketed. You heard about that lumber shortage, right?
