Greetings,

Essential components of a graduate education include offering the artist the opportunity to hone a deeper understanding of their practice, to develop a unique voice and gain a greater understanding of potential impacts of their work. In the Hallie Ford School of Graduate Studies we focus on experiential learning with off-site trips, studio visits, retreats, and conferences. Our HFSGS Lecture Series has welcomed artists, designers and scholars including Sami Schalk, Catherine Chalmers and Sruli Recht; and this year’s HFSGS Symposium will focus on Art and Environmental Justice with keynote speaker Macarena Gómez-Barris. It has been an exciting fall semester.
