THANK YOU for making our 2022-23 campaign an unparalleled success!
Our INVEST campaign officially ended on Monday - and what a campaign it was! We had a record-breaking year with more than $215,000 raised! We are also grateful to announce that nearly 90% of families participated this year - way to go! We are thankful for every single pledge and donation, big and small. The INVEST funds go directly toward our children, teachers and staff, making Julia Green an exceptional community school.
On Wednesday morning, we hosted an Appreciation Breakfast to celebrate the campaign’s completion and show our thanks to our beloved teachers and staff.
On Friday (tomorrow!), we will celebrate with a DUDS Day for everyone! Your child may dress out of standard school attire (please no pajamas or costumes) to commemorate a job well done.
Thank you, families, teachers, staff, grandparents and special friends for making this SUCH a successful campaign! Our Julia Green community is stronger than ever and committed to making our school the best it can be.
Thank you for INVESTing in each and every child at Julia Green!
And special thanks to all those who helped on the INVEST campaign this year:

Kindergarteners! It’s time for a special project! Make your own shaker at home and bring it to music class any day in the month of September! This is NOT required; just for fun!
To make a shaker: - Find any container that closes all the way. - Fill it with tiny, hard things that make a great sound (experiment!). - Decorate and shake
You can keep it in your backpack until you come to music class. We will listen to you play your shaker and try to guess what’s inside! Then you can leave it in the Shaker Hall of Fame until Fall Break when I will send them all home with you. Science, Art, and Music — what a great combination!
Have fun and let Miss Riley know if you have any questions!
