The beginning of the year is a busy time at the Club, and we are aware that parking has been challenging, particularly at peak times. Thank you to those members who have provided valuable feedback on this issue.
Our goal is to ensure parking remains a convenient and positive experience for members. To that aim, beginning February 1, we are updating rates for parking in our garages for more than four hours. The rates for parking for less than four hours are not changing.
The average parking duration for members is approximately 2.5 hours, and the vast majority of members use the garage for less than four hours.
Our parking rates are well below market in Chicago, and we are aware that some members use the heated and monitored underground garage to park their cars all day to run errands, go to work, and more, resulting in less parking opportunities for others. We are working to identify those members, and the new rate structure is meant to address this issue.
The sole intention of these changes is to make parking more accessible for members to enjoy the Club.
Key Changes to Parking Fees
Fees for the first four hours will remain the same:
- $5.75 in the underground garage and $4.00 in the Hubbard Place garage
Fees after the first four hours will increase:
- $5.00 for each additional hour up to six hours in both garages
- Flat fee daily rate of $50.00 in the underground garage and $30.00 in the Hubbard Place garage applied after the sixth hour
Weekend and Holiday Alignment:
- Weekend and holiday rates will follow the same structure as weekday rates.
