First Year and Transfer Preparation for Academic Advising
|
Please note that the academic advising and course registration process will be different according to your undergraduate student type:
Exchange students should already be in contact with the exchange coordinator and academic advisors for course registration.
ACE students will be automatically registered for all of their core courses. If you have any questions or concerns about your ACE coursework, please contact the ACE Director, Carol Olausen: olauseca@miamioh.edu.
First Year and Transfer students should note the following:
All First Year and Transfer students must complete Academic Preparation modules via Canvas, Miami's Learning Management system. Those who need to complete the International Undergraduate Student Academic Preparation - Fall 2023 Canvas modules will receive a invitation to join or can access via the link button below.
|
Please note: required placement tests need to be completed before you can schedule an academic advising appointment and register for courses. If you DID NOT COMPLETE the required English placement tests, you will have to complete them during in-person orientation and meet with an academic advisor for course registration during in-person, August 21-August 24.
If you COMPLETED required English placement tests, you will be able to meet online with an academic advisor and register for courses before your arrive to campus.
