The Student Aid Index (SAI) is an eligibility index number that your college or career technology center’s financial aid office uses to determine how much federal and state financial aid you may receive at their institution. This number is not a dollar amount of aid eligibility or what your family is expected to provide. It’s calculated based on the information provided by students and parents on their FAFSA.
You’ll find your SAI on your FAFSA Submission Summary after you complete your FAFSA. Learn more by viewing the SAI PowerPoint on UCanGo2.org.
