Sexual Assault Awareness Month April is SAAM, when people across the United States raise awareness about sexual violence, how to prevent it, and how to support those who are affected by it. This year's theme is “Drawing Connections: Prevention Demands Equity.”

CIC Coffee & Conversation: Join us on Thursday April 27 at 2 p.m. when author Dionne Ford discusses her book Go Back And Get It, a memoir about the historical intersectionality of race, enslavement, sexual trauma and family genealogy. Dionne Ford is an NEA creative writing fellow and the co-editor of the anthology Slavery's Descendants: Shared Legacies of Race and Reconciliation (Rutgers University Press). Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Literary Hub, New Jersey Monthly, the Rumpus, and Ebony and won awards from the National Association of Black Journalists and the Newswomen's Club of New York. Lecture and Signing: Seton Hall University: A History
On May 1, hear highlights from Seton Hall University’s history and celebrate the publication of History Professor Dermot Quinn’s book, Seton Hall University: A History, 1856-2006, which recounts the history of the University and of the people who shaped it and were shaped by it.

Walsh Gallery exhibit: Matter + Spirit features 25 artists from China and North America, including Lauren Schiller, Professor of Fine Arts. The exhibit runs through April 28 on the first floor.
