Today, we are highlighting Investment Firm Volunteer, Allison Hill, Head of Diversity and Social Responsibility at Roark Capital.
What has been your favorite takeaway from this experience?
"Our favorite takeaway is the genuine curiosity of the students. They ask the best questions! And, questions that are so far above their level. When a 9th grader asks about Enterprise Value or you see the light bulbs go off when you talk about compound interest, it is truly rewarding. One Roark woman said teaching the class was one of her favorite days at work. Now that is saying something!"

Over the past three weeks, girls from our 50+ partner high schools began to experience the second of the four components of the RTSWS academic year-long program - The Wall Street Experience Student Field Trip. The Wall Street field trip is a capstone experience whereby students are given a rare glimpse into the work lives of financiers. Over the next few weeks, the balance of our students will be learning firsthand what a career in the financial services field is like.
