| Happy Holidays! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Even though there have been so many successful events happening all semester, we are not quite done yet. December is filled with events on campus that support relaxation and finals prep.
Parents and families are busy planning for the holidays and our first-year students are almost through their first full semester. Sophomores and juniors are fully engaged in internships and studying abroad and our seniors are planning for their last semester and the world beyond the Nest. Our collective focus turns to preparing for finals and finishing the semester strong.
On a personal note, In an exciting example of life and work colliding, my daughter Emma will be joining me at Endicott as a nursing major and member of the Class of 2028. I'm thrilled that Emma will be able to take advantage of all the amazing things that we offer here.
In the weeks ahead I hope that we all are able to take some time to rest, relax, and recharge.
Enjoy the holidays and have a very happy new year!

December not only brings excitement for the holidays, but also shines a light on how giving our community is! My personal favorite, December, is filled with toy drives, food drives, and our students volunteering with local nonprofits to help families provide a magical holiday for their children. Additionally, cross-campus collaborations with clubs, athletics, Public safety, etc. will bring in over 500 toys for partnering agencies to allocate.
As we get ready to close out our semester one final way your students can give back is to donate any non-perishable food items and old clothing instead of throwing them away. Please encourage your students to seek out donation boxes located in many of the residence halls for food and clothing collection. Happy Holidays to All!

Dean's List Information
Endicott uses an opt-out process for sharing student achievement news with hometown newspapers. News will be sent out automatically each semester unless the student has a privacy hold on their information. We work with a third-party vendor to send student achievement news to newspapers most relevant to the student, based on home address zip code. Endicott will also send an email notification of the achievement to a parent email address on file with the College that can be shared with any additional newspapers or on social media. Only students can add their parent’s email addresses to their account and may do so through the Registrar’s Office or MyEndicott.
Information shared is Directory Information per FERPA. If students have contacted the Registrar's Office to place a privacy hold on Directory Information, their achievements will not be publicized.
Students or parents should fill out the appropriate form to place a privacy hold on Directory Information or to update any changes in information. Please email registrar@endicott.edu with any questions. Click here for more information.

Clubs & Orgs: Getting Involved is a Work in Progress
Our clubs and organizations had a great semester. They held over 30 events ranging from Friendsgiving to Mental Health Awareness Games, and even a semi-formal. We understand that getting involved in the first semester can be slightly overwhelming as your students navigate new schedules, transitions, and other involvements.
We will host another Involvement Fair during Winter Welcome Week to give students an opportunity to meet our clubs and organizations. It is never too late to get involved in a club or organization! The Office of Student Engagement is always happy to meet with students to figure out what clubs or organizations are the best for your student's interests and schedule.
Make sure your student keeps an eye out for the Campus Activities Board (CAB) Gullabration schedule! Gullabration is from November 29-December 13 and is full of holiday-themed events to get your students ready for the holidays and to give them some fun and relaxing things to do before finals! Students can follow @endicott_cab for more information on the events.

Campus Race to Zero Waste (CR2ZW) 2024 is just around the corner! In February and March, Endicott will participate in CR2ZW, a friendly competition and benchmarking tool for colleges and universities across the country to promote waste reduction. Throughout the competition, the Office of Sustainability will host several events for students, faculty, and staff in order to get everyone in the spirit of reducing, reusing, and recycling. Events range from a WALL-E themed Movie Night, to the GameDay Basketball Challenge, to Residence Hall Recycling Competitions! Stay tuned for more information about CR2ZW24 and be sure to participate for a chance to win prizes, meet new people, and learn about Sustainability!
As part of CR2ZW, The Offices of Sustainability and Community Service will be holding the Third Annual Campus Freecycle Thrift Store on Monday, February 12 from 3-5 p.m. in Lower Callahan. Freecycling is when you give away an item you no longer need to someone who can make use of it, rather than throwing it in the trash. But we need your help! We are asking for donations of used clothing, office supplies, decorative goods, and anything else you and your friends/siblings/children no longer have a use for. Winter break is the perfect time to go through your (or your child's) closet and get a jump start on spring cleaning. All of these items will be available for both students and staff for free (suggested $5 donation store entry). All proceeds will go to Beverly Bootstraps. When students return from break, donation boxes will be placed throughout the following residential halls for collections: Endicott, Brindle, Frates, Standish, Stoneridge, Marblehead, Bayview, and Kennedy.
