We have been selling out every week so pre-order your CA State Fair Food Festival meal by Tuesday, June 9th! Then pick up your meals on Friday, June 12th at the California Letters (Main Gate).
While we weren’t able to have the 2020 CA State Fair & Food Festival, we were able to carry out the 2020 California Commercial Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition and award the competition winners.

COVID-19 RESOURCES
Cal Expo has been operating as an emergency center during this pandemic. Currently, we are a COVID-19 testing facility for Project Baseline by Verily. On Friday, May 29th Verily completed its 10,000th COVID-19 test.
FREE COVID-19 TESTING
This is part of California community-based COVID-19 testing program in collaboration with Verily’s Project Baseline.
This Free drive-thru testing at Cal Expo is open to all and you do not need a referral or to show symptoms.
Along with being a testing facility, Cal Expo is also providing resources for people experiencing homelessness who have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

Tune in this Saturday This year would have been the 4th annual Out at the Fair at CA State Fair & Food Festival. However, with the COVID-19 pandemic and the cancellation of the Fair, the OATF® festival continues to evolve and find new ways to connect with our community.
Sacramento Gay Men's Chorus From the 2019 OATF Promenade Stage at the CA State Fair & Food Festival to your screen, the Sacramento Gay Men's Chorus will be playing live and in-app for the Out at the Fair® - LIVE Showcase.
Save the date: Monday, June 22 While we would have loved to host this event during the Fair, we will continue the successful CA State Fair & SMUD Giving Monday program at the California Letters.
Although the CA State Fair & Food Festival is cancelled there is an increased need for food donations for our community due to the COVID-19 pandemic. SMUD and Cal Expo are community partners and will conduct a food drive to help stem the need and provide much-needed food for families.
