Monday, July 16 & July 23 from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
NEW THIS YEAR at the CA State Fair is SMUD Cares at the Fair Giving Monday. Bring 3 non-perishable food items to donate before 3:00 p.m. on Mondays and received FREE admission to the Fair. The food is donated to the Elk Grove Food Bank.

Navy Week begins at the CA State Fair
Monday, July 16

The California State Fair is honored to have been selected as a location for the U.S. Navy's Sacramento Navy Week. There will be events happening all week long including a wreath laying ceremony on Monday, July 16 at 6:00 p.m. at the Fair's 9/11 Memorial.

Day 3 of the Toyota Concert Series brought Trace Adkins back to the Golden 1 Stage for the second year in a row. Trace had a packed crowd singing and dancing.

Light Show at Silent Disco
Monday, July 16 8:00 p.m.

Come check out the newest interactive exhibit to the 2018 CA State Fair - Silent Disco! If that wasn't entertainment enough, Obsidian Butterfly and Sacred Fire Dance Company will also perform a special dance with LEDs at 8:00 p.m. You don't want to miss this visual treat.

California State Fair Crowing Contest
Monday, July 16 at 4:00 p.m.

Can you crow like a rooster? Then join the CA State Fair Crowing contest. Human contestants compete to see who has the best "crow" to win a ribbon. Head to the Fur and Feathers exhibit in Expo Center Building 6 to participate or watch.

King Arthur Flour Bread Chocolate Chip Cookie Derby
Monday, July 16 at 11:30 a.m.
There's not much better than cookies! Head over to the Taste of CA Education Center in the Save Mart California's Kitchen to watch live judging of the King Arthur Flour Chocolate Chip Cookie Derby.

Toyota Concert Series - Day 4
Monday, July 16 at 8:00 p.m.

Kool & the Gang will hit the Golden 1 Stage Monday night. Their upbeat music will have the crowd dancing to their hits "Celebration," "Ladies Night," "Get Down On It," and more. The concert is free with admission, but you can buy a reserved seat to guarantee your spot.
