The First-Year Advising (FYA) team and all of USC Dornsife is excited to welcome a new freshman class to the Trojan family! We celebrated the new school year with over 400 students at the second annual First-Year Experience (FYE) Kickoff Social. Thanks to everyone who attended!

Has the new school year inspired new ideas? Connect with your FYA Advisor to learn more about them! Schedule 30-minute Explore & More sessions to chat about goals, build long-term plans, find minor or second major options, and identify helpful resources throughout Dornsife and USC. Explore & More sessions are available Week 2 through Week 5.

Coming for an in-person advising appointment? Find us in Grace Ford Salvatori Hall (GFS) by taking the elevator to the 3rd floor, turning right, and proceeding to suite 320.

Starting at a new school is tough enough, but many students also kick off the year sharing close quarters with a roommate for the first time. Such arrangements can launch forever friendships, but they can also be the source of awkwardness and conflict.
