   IT'S MONEY MONTH
Taxes may seem wicked, but they don’t have to be a mystery. Join the Student Money Management Center for Money Month 2025! First up is Tax Quest on April 1, a session breaking down the basics of taxes — what they are, how they work and what you need to know before filing, just in time for the April 15 tax deadline.
Check the Coming Up section each week for new financial literacy events happening in April.

   SCRAPPY'S TRIVIA
Do you know which building on campus houses a Lucky the Squirrel display?
Lucky, UNT’s beloved unofficial mascot, became a campus legend before being memorialized in 2016. But he wasn’t the first — or the last! A lineage of albino squirrels has made UNT its home since the 1990s, with local lore claiming that spotting one brings good luck to students, especially on exams.
Send an email with the correct answer to be entered into a random drawing for a UNT T-shirt. The answer will be revealed in a future UNT Weekly issue, so stay tuned.
