A Conversation on the Journey to Identity, Self-Respect, and Inclusiveness in Legal Profession from 5-7 p.m. The session will draw on "Stand Up and Be Counted," the recently published memoir of Albert C. Lum, a Chinese American attorney who began practicing in Los Angeles in the 1960s and a co-founder of the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association. We will hear about Lum's trailblazing life and legal career, learn about the history of Chinese Americans in Southern California, and explore how our personal values inform our professional identity.
