“Apart from receiving the scholarship, which was a huge financial relief, I was also paired with a mentor (Carrie Whisler, RINA). Having a mentor in the accounting industry, where I want to have a career, has been invaluable, and the advice I received from her has been non-biased and transparent. I had the opportunity to attend several FWSF events and each time I witnessed how inclusive the organization is, as well as the diversity and range of experience of its members. It is almost like hitting the jackpot because there is an army of strong, successful women who have your best interest in mind and want you to be successful. I feel honored to be a part of such a dynamic organization and hope my efforts to be a part of FWSF will last a long time.”
