— we’ll see you in Palm Springs!
In the coming days you’ll receive mailings about our upcoming September and October Members Monthly Mixers and LGBT business programming. In the meantime, take a moment to make sure your NGLCCNY Business Directory profile is up to date so that the public can discover your fantastic goods and services. If someone can buy it, an LGBT business can supply it!
Please remember email etiquette when using the directory to search for new business opportunities and refrain from mass mailings that could be considered spam.  If you ever need help targeting members or partners that could help grow your business, reach out to Team NGLCCNY anytime— we’re in the business of helping your business!
Have a great August, and see you soon!
Yours in business equality & opportunity,
Jonathan Lovitz, Director of NGLCCNY
and your NGLCCNY Executive Committee

Non-Profit Spotlight

The LGBT Community Center

The Center has been an LGBT Activist incubator since 1983. The Center has fostered the LGBTQI community when no one else would and definitely before it was “cool." The Center is a hero and a shining example of what it means to be a community leader. In the early days it was home to HMI, GMHC, GLAAD and The Anti-Violence Project to name a few of the great organizations that have found their way to the mainstream and push for the LGBTQI community.

LGBT Biz Pitch Competition

Loud-Hailer

NGLCCNY's newly certified LGBTBE, Loud-Hailer, will be competing in the LGBT Biz Pitch Competition closing out this year's International Business & Leadership Conference.
Loud-Hailer is a mesh networking company providing mobile augmented connectivity. A group of people (anywhere from two to possibly tens of thousands) can take their loud-hailer solution with them so they can stay connected to each other, no matter where they are. Loud-Hailer is their private data network ready to go anywhere in the world.
NGLCCNY wishes Jack Chen, Co-founder/CEO of Loud-Hailer, the very best at the competition. More details about Jack's conference experience will be shared in the next Excelsior Newsletter
