Hello friends,

Ecological grief, also known as climate grief or eco-anxiety, is a psychological response to loss caused by environmental devastation or climate change.

Environment and social justice are at the heart of our work and we know the sense of ecological grief and anxiety all too well; it’s experienced by every being in every ocean, forest, river, mountain, and affects every member of our 600-member strong network of environmental changemakers all over the world. Does this resonate with you?

Next Tuesday, 23 November 2021, 13:00 GMT / 14:00 CET, join us for a facilitated space to acknowledge and face your ecological grief.
Serah Daisy is a GEN Member who we first met in June 2021 at the Weaving Grief, the Body & Transformative Justice retreat in Kent, UK.

Serah Daisy will facilitate our online GEN Grove next Tuesday with a meditation, and stories and sensation session. They are a multidimensional artist, an independent scholar, and a spirit-led healing practitioner. They are black, queer, disabled, and tired of colonial dominance ruling our collective imaginations, possibilities and lives. They are a shapeshifter, and time traveler who utilises different modalities of healing and liberation practices to create, channel and transmute what they can and what they must on this plain.

Join us on Tuesday, 23 November 2021, 13:00 GMT / 14:00 CET for a grief space facilitated by GEN Member, Serah Daisy on meeting our ecological grief.

This is a free event with our global GEN Community in mind, it would be great to see you there and we would really appreciate your support!

Love Nessie and Samirah
(GEN Director and Programme Coordinator)
