Free Online Tournament: Register by November 30Our Springboard Series gives students a free chance to practice competing online! The final tournament will be held December 5 with middle school and high school open divisions in the following events.
- Dramatic, Humorous, and Program Oral Interpretation
- Original Oratory, Informative Speaking, and Prepared Mixed Extemp
- Policy, Public Forum, Lincoln-Douglas, World Schools, and Congressional Debate

Coach, Student, and Administrator AwardsNominations are now open for all of our district to national awards! Each winner of the following district awards is automatically entered into the running for the national-level award when reported by your district chair.

District deadlines vary, so be sure to check with your local leadership about when nominations are due. District chairs must report district winners to us by April 16 for national award consideration!

Earn Funds for Your Team with Big Questions Debate!In Big Questions, students debate topics at the intersection of science, religion, and philosophy.
The 2020-2021 topic is, Resolved: Mathematics was discovered, not invented. You can earn up to $2,500 for your team when you apply and are approved to host an event at a tournament or against members of your own team. Online events are eligible. Almost $1.5 million has been awarded to programs since 2016. Funding is limited, so apply today! Learn more about the format or apply at www.speechanddebate.org/big-questions.
