‘35 Innovators Under 35’

A Clemson University Ph.D. student who helped start academic programs to support Black artificial intelligence researchers is making MIT Technology Review’s new global list of “35 Innovators Under 35.” Moses Namara, 29, holds a Master of Computer Science from Clemson and is now pursuing a doctorate in human-centered computing under the guidance of Associate Professor Bart Knijnenburg.

First Friday Parade Returns September 10th

The 2021 First Friday Parade will be held on September 10, one day prior to the opening home football game against South Carolina State. The parade is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and will return to its traditional route along Highway 93.

Watch Clemson vs Georgia on College Ave in Clemson

The City of Clemson is once again ALL IN! for a Downtown Football Viewing Party Saturday, September 4th on College Avenue between Keith Street and Highway 93. Two large screens will be placed near the police substation and Judge Keller’s store and attendees will be required to social distance and wear a face mask.

According to CDC statistics, approximately 26 percent of the U.S. population is identified as having a disability. In 2020, that would equate to approximately 6,900 Clemson students and 1,500 Clemson employees. The Clemson Accessibility Web Portal (AWP) is a centralized accessibility resource for students, employees and visitors.
