2030 Olympic Bid Update: Salt Lake City, Lake Tahoe, California, and Denver are the three cities being considered by the USOC. Council and staff discussed the state’s efforts to organize a formal bid to host the 2030 Olympics, as well as future opportunities to gather community input regarding what advantages and challenges another Olympics in Park City would create for residents and businessess.
Vibrancy (Vacant Storefront) Ordinance Enforcement: The new ordinance, which is intended to combat dark storefronts, took effect Febraury 1. Staff has made significant progress in educating Main Street merchants about compliance.
Amendments to the Land Management Code regarding transfer development rights for Treasure Hill: this measure eliminates the ability to transfer any density from Treasure Hill.
IN THE PARK CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEETING, Council Approved the purchase of affordable unit 1995 Cooke Drive.
