Tejal Rao '05, a co-chief restaurant critic for The New York Times! Her passion for food writing, honed since her time at Emerson, has led her to receive two James Beard Foundation Awards. Olivia Harvey '16 is making waves with her upcycled fashion designs! Her unique, Massachusetts-inspired creations—featuring everything from lobsters and cigarettes to Dunkin' coffee—are selling out in minutes. Known as @ohpleeze on Instagram and TikTok, Olivia's work brilliantly captures the local "Mass vibe" and we're so proud to see her success! 
World-renowned makeup artist, beauty industry trailblazer, and pioneering entrepreneur, Bobbi Brown '79, H '12, brings her Still Bobbi book tour to Emerson College on Monday, October 27. During this fireside chat, Bobbi introduces her first memoir to audiences as she opens up about her journey of reinvention, resilience, and the power of staying real. Tickets on sale soon!

Emerson’s new School of Film, Television, and Media Arts was ranked #6 on The Hollywood Reporter’s annual list of best film schools in the U.S. Starting this fall, the Visual & Media Arts (VMA) Department will now be the School of Film, Television, and Media Arts (SOF) with Shaun Clarke, MFA '12, serving as Interim Dean.
