This year, 6th and 7th-grade students will stay on campus and experience orientation stations. The stations will be all things TMI. They will then participate in team building and leadership activities with Cielo Vista Challenge staff. Students will be accompanied by their grade-level advisors and will get quality time with their class!

- Students will eat lunch at 11:00 a.m. on campus.
- The day will end at 1:30 p.m. Please make transportation arrangements to pick up your student at 1:30 p.m. from Panther Park on Friday, August 16th.

Additionally, students are required to wear closed-toed tennis shoes, a TMI spirit shirt, and athletic bottoms that are at least finger-tip length.

8th graders and their advisors will be going off-campus for Retreat Day on Friday, August 16th to Newcombe Ranch in New Braunfels, Texas. While at Newcombe Ranch, students will participate in both low and high ropes activities and enjoy lunch provided by Newcombe Ranch.
Because Newcombe Ranch is about an hour away, students must arrive on campus by 8:00 a.m. and meet in Room 407 and 408 in the portables for prompt attendance and bus loading at 8:15 a.m. Students will return to campus between 3:45 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. and pick-up will be in Panther Park.
All students must have a release form completed and signed to participate in any activities at Newcombe Ranch. Please complete the 2-page release form linked here. You can scan the completed form and email it back to me or Mrs. Clements, or have your student bring a hard copy on Convocation Day on Thursday, August 15th.
Additionally, students are required to wear closed-toed tennis shoes, a TMI spirit shirt, and athletic bottoms that are at least finger-tip length. Students must also bring a refillable water bottle and are encouraged to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen as the facility is outdoors. There will be shaded areas and water available throughout the event.

6:30 a.m. Senior Sunrise in Ayres Hall circle parking lot; Pancakes, sausage, and juice will be available.

* 7:03 a.m. - Official sunrise and pancakes

8:15 a.m. Depart for Camp Capers (seniors will board buses and head to Camp Capers for the day); buses will return to TMI by 3:00 p.m. Seniors will go home immediately after arriving back to TMI unless they have a scheduled athletic practice/game/event.
What to wear & bring: Seniors may dress in casual, non-uniform clothes and athletic shoes. Additionally, students must bring their own water bottles. Hats, sunglasses, and sunblock are also recommended.
