Celebrate Desert Nights Downtown Lights with the Downtown Tucson Partnership (DTP), powered by the City of Tucson, Pima County and Rio Nuevo. Downtown Tucson is the place to be this holiday season with hundreds of holiday events, programs, and specials. See Tucson’s largest Christmas tree, towering at an impressive 36 feet and adorned with thousands of lights and ornaments. This magical tree will be located in Jácome Plaza amidst a stunning backdrop of 60 illuminated buildings and 148 street trees tightly wrapped with LED lights.

Attend the Parade of Lights, returning under new management after a two-year hiatus. Ice skate outdoors in the heart of Downtown Tucson, at Tucson Holiday Ice. Come early and stay late to savor the delectable offerings from a plethora of dining options and support local businesses throughout the holiday season, including Small Business Saturday. Parade of Lights Returns After Two-Year Hiatus

The Downtown Parade of Lights is back and under new management! Join the fun and celebrate the holidays with the Downtown Parade of Lights presented by Rio Nuevo. The 28th Annual Downtown Parade of Lights takes place on Saturday, December 17, 2022, 6:30 p.m. in Armory Park. Learn more here.

Tucson Holiday Ice Opens Sunday

Pima Pain Center, Rio Nuevo and the City of Tucson invite you to skate on Tucson's outdoor ice rink over the holidays, November 20, 2022 - January 8, 2023. Tucson Holiday Ice will be located downtown at 260 S. Church Avenue, in front of the Tucson Convention Center Ticket Office. And YES - it's real ice! More info and tickets here.

Downtown Welcomes NEW Giant Christmas Tree

Tucson's Christmas Tree, presented by Rio Nuevo, will be located in Jácome Plaza downtown (101 N. Stone Avenue) starting Nov. 22. The tree will be adorned with thousands of white LED lights and over a thousand beautiful ornaments. Standing at an enormous 36 feet tall, Tucson's Christmas Tree is the largest in Southern Arizona. The tree will be available for viewing every day during regular park hours through Jan. 3, 2023, 6 a.m.-10:30 p.m.

Downtown Illuminates on Nov. 25

The DTP's Building Illumination Program highlights Downtown Tucson's skyline for the holidays and attracts people from all over the region to dine, shop, play and stay downtown. DTP encourages property owners to light their rooflines with warm white LED lights for a cooperative display of 60 buildings. The result is a striking silhouette of the downtown skyline visible from Interstate 10, the Catalina Foothills and beyond.

Street Trees Light Up with Thousands of Lights

DTP illuminates the main streets of downtown with support from the City of Tucson and Pima County. 148 downtown trees are adorned, from trunk to canopy, in thousands of warm white LED lights. Strolling among the downtown lights is the perfect way to enjoy a brisk desert night. Thank you to the City and County for your sponsorship.
