In the short time spent so far in 2016, ATMIA has enjoyed steady growth, both in terms of membership numbers and in the number and quality of services provided; with programs such as the Market Intelligence Library and the global Member Directory continuing to provide members with exceptional services that give them the information needed in our dynamic industry.
In addition to this, we have provided a number of teleconferences and resources designed at increasing our members’ awareness of current and emerging areas of contention such as DC signage at ATMs and EMV migration.

What’s news in the Asia Pacific region: In March, ATMIA attended a meeting hosted by APCA on the issue of DC Signage at ATMs. This industry issue is an ongoing discussion between APCA, the RBA and ATMIA and we intend to consistently provide our members with regular updates on this matter. ATMIA will hold its next GRC teleconference on Thursday, 26th May @ 2pm EST. Be assured this issue will certainly be an item on the agenda. ATMIA Committees
As our ATM world changes due to reasons such as IT, hardware, regulatory, fraud, operator changes, etc. ATMIA is continually ramping up or winding down committees as necessary to keep its members well informed of impending changes. Next Generation ATM Architecture Committee

The ATM Industry Association has announced that it has created a new level of membership specifically for financial institutions. Although FIs have always been an important segment of the membership, this new level combines selected benefits into a package that ATMIA expects to be of particular interest to banks and credit unions of all sizes.
“ATMIA supports the professionalism of ATM deployers primarily because they take care of the customer touchpoint. The association is proud to announce a customized membership package for Financial Institutions to cater to their unique needs as ATM deployers in a demanding marketplace. Banks and credit unions are likely to find the package of benefits we’re offering both useful and educational,” says ATMIA CEO, Mike Lee.
One of the objectives of the new level is to allow for more individual members, which means that numerous FI departments can now become fully engaged in ATMIA activities and resources. Committee groups and Best Practices address ATM-related issues and processes for security, risk management, business development, and compliance, as well as operations. Financial Institution Members may also designate one representative to participate in their Regional Advisory Board.
“With a growing group of over 90 banks and other organisations amongst our existing members already qualifying for this new category, the ATMIA can rightly claim to represent the whole ATM industry, including Financial Institutions", says Ron Delnevo, ATMIA Europe Executive Director.
