2021 Fulbright Scholarships

Fulbright provides annual grants for U.S. students wishing to conduct research, teach English, or obtain an MA degree in a foreign country. Senior undergrads and graduate students in all disciplines are eligible to apply. The deadline is always in October so there’s plenty of time to learn about this award!
Virtual info sessions will be held on Wednesday, March 3 from 10:00 AM- 11:00 AM here, and on Monday, March 22 from 2:00 PM- 3:00 PM here!

Jameson Family Scholarship

Apply now for the Jameson Family Scholarship! This scholarship is available to undocumented or DACA students accepted as an HB144 student at the University of Utah. The Jameson Family Scholarship looks for motivated students who have been involved in leadership and/or community activities, have a good academic record, have financial need, and are enrolled as full-time students at the time the award is used.

The Bennion Center is now accepting applications for new student leaders to fill around 80 open positions in a variety of our community engagement programs. Previous engagement with the Bennion Center is not required to apply and the positions are open to all majors. This is a great way to get involved outside of the classroom, build personal connections, earn leadership experience, and make a difference in our community.

Interested in infant and early childhood mental health? 
Earn an Undergraduate Certificate with the new Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Certificate program.  
The purpose of infant mental health certificate, offered jointly through Family and Consumer Studies & Psychology, is to promote the health and development of all young children. By training the next generation of students in a culturally sensitive and relationship-focused manner, students will become expert consultants in the field of infant and early childhood mental health.

A More Accessible Classroom with Ally

Ally is a tool in Canvas that gives feedback to instructors on how to make their documents more accessible for students, helping ensure that all students have equal opportunities for success. More importantly, it also creates accessible versions of Canvas documents and files –for example, with Ally, you can download audio files of your course readings! It also automatically converts files to other accessible formats, such as HTML files, ePub files, and electronic braille files.
