Happy Summer Solstice,

It looks like we’re in for a hot week, so please stay hydrated out there. The Mountain Course continues to be in incredible shape and we’re expanding our hours of operation again this week at Stowe Country Club; however, we will continue to remain closed there on Mondays—except for the Ladies League. On Tuesday, we’ll open for play starting at noon, with golf carts available weather permitting.

Our Maintenance Team has done a fantastic job preparing the new turf for cart use, and we want to emphasize the importance of following all cart directional signage. Our goal is to provide the best possible playing conditions for as long as possible. Please keep in mind that the turf is still fragile, and there may be times—due to extreme wetness, drought, or heat—when carts will be restricted to paths only, limited to 90-degree usage, or not permitted at all. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we manage these ever-changing conditions. 

Our first Taco Tuesday of the season was a smashing success with an amazing turnout of members, families and invited guests. It was so good to see everyone and hope you plan to make this part of your weekly routine every Tuesday! To help us properly prepare, we are providing the ability to register in advance as a ‘heads up’ so our team can provide the best member experience possible. Please let us know in your registration how many will be attending the complimentary lessons?

The Golf Professional Staff will be on the lower practice tee offering complimentary golf tips from 5-6PM.

Dinner service now begins at 5PM to spread out orders and help families beat the rush. We will also have lawn games and putters provided at the clubhouse green for the kids. 

In addition to chef’s taco creations and margarita specials, our full menu is available to satisfy all tastes. This week's featured taco: Smoked Pork Taco with citrus cabbage, pineapple salsa and spicy mayo. 

Live music will be from 6-8PM. This week we are hosting Troy Millette

The Cottage will be open for lunch daily starting at 11am; reservations are available for lunch but not required. Dinner will be Friday and Saturday from 5-9pm and reservations are required.

In addition to the new and very well received Summer Dinner Menu at the cottage, chef is bringing in something special from the farm. 

Triple J Pastures bone in pork loin chop with summer vegetable succotash and stone fruit chutney.

Please join us for a 9-hole family friendly scramble with a twist on The Mountain Course at 5pm. After play we will have a short trivia contest where correct answers will help improve your score. Questions will be Club and Stowe specific so put your thinking cap and come have some fun. 

Come for the golf, come for the dinner or come to both. It's up to you but please note a separate dining reservation is required.

Saturday Complimentary Wine & Cheese Tasting

Our good friends from Jasper Hill Farms in Greensboro join us from 3-5Pm Saturday at The Cottage. Limited spaces remain.

The Outfitters Summer Schedule runs from June 16th to September 1st and offers multiple hikes a day that venture on property as well as the local trails by the visitor's center. Hikes up Mansfield, Spruce Peak, and Sterling Pond are available upon request.

In addition to the hikes, we are offering various family friendly activities that all kids are welcome to participate from Plant identification, to tie dye, to activations on the green and more! 

Along with the recreation fun, we have yoga every day and new fitness opportunities on Saturdays! Club Members receive complimentary access for a number of daily activities.

Take part in the popular sport that is enjoyed by all ages while surrounded by the beauty of the Green Mountains. Indulge in some friendly competition or serious play with our tennis court and pickleball court.

Reservations required for court time - 1 hour blocks at a time.
Reservations available 8:00am-7:00pm
Tennis racket or pickleball paddles available for rent at $10/hr.
Balls available for purchase at The Spa.

Last Saturday was a beautiful day for golf and 40 participants battled it out in the Mountain Course for our annual two-club Member-Member.
