Every other year, our school presents a full scale musical.  Students from 1st through 8th grade have been working since September to perform "The Grunch".  This show tells the story of Rudy Grunch, a student who dislikes the theatre so much that he plots to steal all of the costumes and sets to ruin the school musical.  There is still one more opportunity to see this amazing show tonight at 7:00 pm, so make sure to come out and support these talented students.  Many thanks to Ms. Hutchins, Ms. Moffett, and Ms. Aucoin for all of their endless hours of work directing this incredible show!
The daffodils in our garden have been blooming.  The daffodil garden was established by Joe Engel, Holocaust survivor, in remembrance of the 1.5 million children who perished during the Shoah.  This garden is also part of the Daffodil Project that brings together organizations from around the world with the aim to plant one daffodil in memory of each person who perished during the Holocaust.  We are so proud to be able to participate in such an important program that teaches our students to honor the past as well as how to be role models for the future.
Kindergarten has been practicing mindfulness and relaxation during PE class. Cosmic Kids is an interactive yoga adventure which builds strength, balance and confidence, and gets kids into yoga mindfulness early.  They love trying all of the different yoga moves!
