The Provost’s Lecture Series hosts entrepreneur/author Rob Basso, who will share his personal story, effective approaches for taking calculated risks, and discuss how to become an effective leader and communicator in his lecture, Apply the Triple Threat of Ambition, Confidence and Conviction for Success On Your Own Terms. Two-day conference – The Global Sixties in the Global South – brings together an interdisciplinary group of scholars to explore multiple dimensions of the Global Sixties across Africa, Asia and Latin America. PUBLIC VACCINE SITE CHANGE
On March 21, the NYS Department of Health closed the COVID-19 vaccine site located at Stony Brook University’s R&D Park. Last Thursday, March 24, a walk-in vaccine site opened at 181 N. Belle Mead Road, Suite 2 in East Setauket. The Pfizer vaccine will be administered to adults and children ages 5 and older at this site through Friday, April 15 as follows:
Thursdays, 9 am to 1 pm
Fridays, 1 pm to 5 pm
Saturdays, 9 am to 1 pm
MASKING
Please note: In addition to the recent lifting of our mask mandate for most indoor locations on West Campus, face coverings are also no longer required when riding in Stony Brook University vehicles, buses and shuttles.
TESTING REMINDERS
Please remember that onsite COVID surveillance testing continues to be monitored and required – weekly for those who have not reported full vaccination and monthly for fully vaccinated individuals. As always, find details on the Testing/Screening webpage of our Stronger Together site.
