  • Professor Emeritus of Political Science and International Affairs Burton Malcolm Sapin, a noted political scientist and scholar in the field of international relations
  • Professor Emeritus of Geography Dorn C. McGrath, Jr., founder of the Center for Urban and Environmental Research at GW
  • Professor Emeritus of Religion Dewey D. Wallace, Jr., a scholar of Christianity who taught at GW for over 50 years
  • Research Professor Jerry Ellig, an evidence-based policy expert at the GW Regulatory Studies Center
  • Broadcast veteran Larry King, a generous benefactor of Columbian College’s School of Media and Public Affairs
  • Double alumnus Bob Coleman, BA ’81, MFA ’85, a former instructor in graphic design, illustration and computer graphics

Kavita Daiya (Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies) published the article "Entrepreneurship,and Transnational Dialogue: Reframing South Asian Textile Arts" in the journal Critical Asian.
Alex Donahue (Interior Architecture) received a 2020 Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and Metropolitan Arts Press for his PRIDE Watch.
