For 2026, the various campus organizations and units have curated an extensive series of events under the theme Black Voices Across a Century: Joy, Legacy, and Liberation. This centennial celebration aligns with the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH), which marks 100 years since Carter G. Woodson first launched Negro History Week in 1926. We warmly invite the entire USF community to join us in commemorating our rich history at events throughout February.
