Applications are now being accepted for SUMMA Theological Debate Camp 2024. Join us this summer from July 16-24 on our beautiful campus in Sewanee. SUMMA is open to high school students entering grades 9-12 in the fall of 2024. We welcome campers from all backgrounds and faith traditions. Find more information here.

| The Rev. Dr. Charle DuBois, retired Professor of Pastoral Care, died peacefully at his home in Warminster, Pennsylvania on Friday, March 8.
Charles taught at the School of Theology from 1986 until 1997 serving in a variety of roles, first as the director of field education and later as professor of pastoral theology and associate dean for student affairs.
Before coming to Sewanee, Charles was a parish priest for 28 years, serving in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, from which he drew keen insights on parish ministry. His wise counsel and wry sense of humor, together with his profound humility and grace, made him a role model and mentor for a generation of graduates and priests.
