SENATE TEES UP NDAA AMENDMENT PACKAGE
This week, the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC), led by Chair Jack Reed (D-RI) and ranking Republican Roger Wicker (R-MS), rolled out a package of 93 bipartisan amendments to their annual defense policy bill. The bill passed in committee in July. According to a SASC press release, the Senate committee and House versions of the bill will be combined through negotiations from both chambers.
