Dear friends,
The Presidents’ Circle has once again helped to propel Colgate to great heights. I am thrilled to share that, led by Presidents’ Circle donors like you, the Colgate community raised $10,942,720 for the Colgate Fund in fiscal year 2026, benefiting all aspects of this great University. Our goal was $10.4 million – to surge past it so resoundingly speaks to both your confidence in Colgate’s mission and your belief in the power of collective generosity.
In addition to the Colgate Fund, you helped Colgate Athletics achieve its highest-ever total in annual funding, reaching $3,272,531. All of that comes in the context of the Campaign for the Third Century, which between spendable gifts, endowment gifts, planned gifts, and capital commitments, has surpassed $851 million.
As you’ll read in this report, your impact goes far beyond dollars contributed. Talented incoming students with financial need choose Colgate, because of you. Faculty members partner with students on research at the leading edge of their fields, because of you. Staff perform work year-round to enhance Colgate’s beautiful campus. Students spend their summers at career-defining internships. Visiting lecturers, artists, performers, and scholars share their unique talents with the campus community. Students balance academics by participating in club and intramural sports teams, dance and music groups, Greek life, outdoor education, and more.
All because of you.
Through your engagement and your philanthropy, the Presidents’ Circle sets the tone for all our donors and that’s why your leadership is so important. The Colgate Fund helps elevate the University from excellent to extraordinary – the foundation provided by Presidents’ Circle members demonstrates to the entire community that this is an investment worth making.
The dedication of the Colgate community – inclusive of alumni, families, and friends like you – is one of the University’s greatest strengths. I am grateful to partner with you, and look forward to deepening that partnership in 2026-27.
With gratitude,
