During Fall semester, we enjoyed meeting many of you at our Dornsife First-Year Advising (FYA) Events, and we are excited to continue supporting you throughout your first year with a new round of Spring events.
As a reminder, during the first six weeks of the semester, we offer a series of events designed to supplement the academic advising experience by:
⋅ Supporting first-years individual and diverse needs
⋅ Empowering students to explore academic, personal, and career goals
⋅ Connecting students with campus resources and each other
⋅ Preparing students to thrive at USC from their first year through graduation and beyond.

Transition Experience Roadmap |
Academic Advising grows with you every step of the way! This semester, all First-Year students will take part in the Transition Experience, designed to help you confidently prepare for Sophomore Year and beyond.
Through the Transition Experience, you’ll participate in engaging opportunities like the Spring into Summer & Fall workshop, Pre-Registration Advising for Fall 2026, Cluster Advising Orientation, and chances to meet and connect with your future Cluster Advising team.
Keep an eye out for updates from First-Year Advising, and don’t forget to check in with your First-Year Advisor to make the most of upcoming Transition Experience opportunities!
